African Public Theology boosted by Nigerian Vice President

We have received the following exciting news from Prof. Sunday Agang, Provost at the ECWA theological school at Kagoro in Kaduna State in Nigeria.

Dr. Agang has recently met with the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo of the country who is also a pastor of a church, a lawyer, and a professor in law.

A process was set in motion to present NetACT’s book, African Public Theology, to the President himself as well as to a previous president, Major-General Olusegun Obasanjo, who is very much involved in addressing the issues discussed in the book.

The Vice President suggested that the book should be used as a key textbook at training institutions where it should set the standard as to moral and ethical values. They want to see to it that the book serves as a textbook in all their theological schools.

This is great news indeed, and we pray God’s blessing on this
